Over the years we have had two other brands of off. Road hitches. It is a miracle my wife and I still have all our fingers.. We decided to fit an oz hitch to our current camper because it looked so easy to use. They are so good they will self align if you don't get it quite right. To reinforce my faith in this product when I contacted the company to discuss a minor issue ( and didn't buy the hitch off the current owners of the company) I was amazed at their high level of focus on after sales service. It was a breath of fresh air compared the way a lot of companies now treat people. Thanks guys
Most of us have to drive through access gates at some point in our driving careers. Sometimes they are a bit hidden as in this experience. Which also brings up offroad safety and outback travel, and the amount of things that could go wrong. Even worse if you are towing because pulling up takes longer and your offroad trailer could push you around. There are so many things to be aware of all the time. including towing safety.
We have had numerous incidents with gates swinging in the wind and hitting vehicles. This guy caught a gate that was probably hidden by the tree line as he rounded the corner. Share the following pictures as you see fit. Look at all three pictures to see how lucky this guy really was.
I bet the first thing the driver checked was to see if Mr. Wiggles and his two neighbours were still in town…
